West View Cottage is a lovely one bedroom property, nestled in the heart of Allonby, Cumbria. The bathroom and living room (great view) are upstairs, with the bedroom and kitchen downstairs. Allonby is situated on the stunning Solway coast.
There are two public houses (Jacks surf bar offers dining in as well as takeaways) a cafe (usually open Wednesday to Sunday) and an ice cream shop in Allonby, which also sells essentials.
There is a new sandwich shop in town too.
The Ship Hotel has been refurbished and is now open. Indoor dining is available (Opening days/hours vary)
It’s a great location to explore the historic towns of Cockermouth, Maryport, Silloth, and the Northern Lakes. There are excellent routes for walkers & cyclists.
